| 49.1 | Diplomatic Relations | |
| The Bank may enter into Diplomatic Relations with other lesser financial entities for the purpose of supporting improved finance, trade and prosperity. | ||
| However, the Bank shall not be permitted to enter into any agreement, treaty, concordat or legal device that seeks directly or indirectly to abrogate any powers bestowed by this Charter. | ||
| Any Agreement claiming such abrogation of any rights bestowed to the Bank through this Charter shall be null and void ab initio (from the beginning). | ||
